IP Television Terms of Use
IP Television is an application that lets you watch video content through an advanced player that plays m3u playlists.
The application provides a subscription service that allows subscribers to access the electronic programme guide EPG ("IP Television subscription content") streamed over the Internet on compatible TVs, computers and other devices.
The IP Television service is provided by Azero di Paolo Rossignoli, a sole proprietorship subject to Italian law. These Terms of Use govern your use of the service. As used herein, "IP Television service", "our service" or "the service" means the service provided by IP Television for viewing content not owned by the Provider, including features, the website and user interfaces, as well as associated software.
1. EPG Subscription
- Your IP Television subscription renews automatically until cancelled. Auto-renewal can be turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period through your account settings.
- Cancellation must be made at least 24 hours before the end of the renewal period. You will continue to have access to the service until the end of the current billing period.
- To the extent permitted by applicable law, payments are non-refundable.
- To use the service, you must have Internet access and a compatible device.
- Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store. For information on managing and cancelling your subscription, please refer to your Apple account settings.
Changes to prices and service plans
IP Television may change its service plans and prices from time to time. Any changes will take effect no earlier than 30 days after notice is given to you.
2. Non-consumable in-app purchases
IP Television offers the following paid extensions:
- Remove ads – use the application without advertising.
- Activate zapping – a mini player for channel preview.
- Multiple playlists – manage more than two playlists.
- Copy and Paste – import playlists from the web into the app.
Prices may vary by location. Purchases are charged through the User's Apple account. Purchases can be managed in account settings after purchase.
3. Free trials
- Your subscription may start with a free trial lasting one month, or as otherwise specified during sign-up, to allow new users to try the service.
- Free trial eligibility is determined at IP Television's sole discretion. We reserve the right to revoke the free trial in case of abuse.
- At the end of the trial period, unless previously cancelled, the subscription fee will be charged to the payment method on file.
4. Nature of the Application and absence of content
IP Television is exclusively a media player that allows the User to play M3U format playlists provided by the User. The Application does not include, provide, distribute, or host any audiovisual content, playlists, or streaming feeds.
The Application does not constitute an audiovisual media service within the meaning of Directive 2010/13/EU (Audiovisual Media Services Directive), nor a video-sharing platform service, as it does not store, organise, or disseminate user-uploaded content.
5. User responsibility for content
The User is solely and exclusively responsible for the content accessed through the Application.
- Lawfulness of content. The User undertakes to use the Application exclusively for the playback of content for which they hold the rights or have a valid licence or authorisation.
- Prohibition of unlawful content. It is forbidden to use the Application to access content protected by copyright or related rights without due authorisation from the rights holders, in violation of Directive (EU) 2019/790 on copyright in the Digital Single Market and applicable national copyright laws.
- Exclusive responsibility. Any User who loads, enters, or plays playlists containing unauthorised, protected, or unlawful channels, streaming feeds, or content does so at their own risk and assumes all civil and criminal liability arising from such conduct.
- Indemnification. The User undertakes to indemnify and hold harmless the Provider, its collaborators, and partners from any claim, damage, cost, or expense (including legal fees) arising from the User's unlawful use of the Application.
6. Limitation of liability of the Provider
The Provider, as the supplier of an application that serves as a mere technical playback tool:
- Has no knowledge of or control over the content accessed by the User through playlists loaded into the Application.
- Does not perform any activity of hosting, caching, indexing, editorial curation, or distribution of audiovisual content, within the meaning of Articles 4, 5, and 6 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act).
- Is not subject to any general monitoring obligation over content played by the User, in accordance with Article 8 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act).
- Is not affiliated with any provider, reseller, or distributor of IPTV playlists.
The Provider disclaims all liability for any direct or indirect damages, losses, or prejudice arising from the User's use of the Application with content for which they do not hold the rights.
7. Notices and takedowns
Should a rights holder believe that the Application facilitates the infringement of their rights, they may contact the Provider at the details provided on www.iptelevision.tv. The Provider will cooperate in good faith with the competent authorities in compliance with applicable law.
8. General provisions
- Governing law. These Terms are governed by Italian law. Consumer protection rights under the mandatory laws of your country of residence are not affected.
- Support. For information or support, please contact IP Television through the form on www.iptelevision.tv. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and information provided by customer support, these Terms shall prevail.
- Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
- Amendments. IP Television may amend these Terms at any time by giving notice to Users.
